Technology:

Gear box. The foldable Twins Industry BFX flail mower series is equipped with a very powerful double sided transmission made by the italian brand CMR, making it the perfect choice for large tractors with up to 250hp. The large CMR free-wheel transmission lets the rotor shaft turn, once the PTO is switched off, so that its movement will not be transferred to the tractor. The mower's front is equipped with safety flaps to prevent debris and stones being thrown out of the machine.

15/20 feet mowing width. Twins Industry professional BFX foldable mower is with 15/20 feet mowing width, it's designed for large farms with the need for high work efficiancy when cutting grass, crop residues, cornstalks and shredding branches or twigs.

New 2.5 LBS forged flail hammer. Twins Industry BFX460/600 is with forged and galvanized high performance hammer knives, each weight is 1100gr / 2.5lbs.

Hydraulic rear maintenance gate. Easy to reach rotor and hammer for maintenance.

SKF ball bearing for rotor shaft. Twins Industry BFX-460/600 mowers come with large SKF rotor shaft ball-bearings sitting in massive CNC-made bearing seats. This is important, because the heavy and extra wide rotor shafts are turning with 2068rpm and cut the material down to a minimum, so that it can rot away fast. The rotor shafts are specially designed. The flail hammers are mounted in a helix order, so despite the wide working width never more than two flails per rotor shaft are actually cutting at the same time. This significantly reduces the needed mowing power.

Double walled housing. For wide and heavy fail mowers, using very high RPM on the rotor shaft, a torsion-resistant and low vibration housing is the precondition for a reliable machine. Next to massive side walls, which are 10mm thick on the Twins Industry BFX-series, best results are achieved when using double walled housings. The Twins Industry BFX-mower comes with a 6mm strong outer housing in addition to a 5mm thick inner housing on more than 90% of the housing surface. Both housings are welded and bolted together. This leads to a very smooth operation of this professional implement.

Replaceable counter knife. The new replaceable counter knife, integrated in the mower housing, are helping to do an even more efficient job as before.

Heavy duty roller. The mowing height is adjusted by the heavy, ball-bearing mounted self cleaning rear roller, to prevent the mower from cutting into the ground on bumpy surface.

5+5 belts Driven system. Like all other Twins Industry mowers, the BFX series has an electronically balanced rotor shaft which is driven by 5+5 belts depending on the working width. Despite the high flail hammer knife weight of 3 lbs, this guarantees an almost 100% power transfer rate with virtually 0% belt slippage.

Electronically balanced rotor. All the Twins Industry mowers has an electronically balanced knife shaft which is driven by 3 or 4 wide belts. The heavy free-wheel gear box runs in an oil bath, so the transmission oil has to be filled up before you first use the machine.
