Heavy duty embankment / verge flail mower with hydraulic swivel arm for larger tractors with 120hp to 200hp engines with CAT II & III 3-point hitches.

The Twin-industry BCRXpro verge flail mower series is equipped with a large and extremely powerful transmission made by the famous italian factory Bondioli&Pavesi, making this embankment mower the perfect choice for medium and larger tractors. These professional mowers come with working widths of up to 280cm and a hydraulic swivel arm for maximum flexibility and a mowing range angle from -45° to +90°. The maximum distance from the middle of the tractor to the right side of the mower is up to 395cm, depending on the BCRXpro-model. In combination with the right tractor BCRXpro-mowers are superior to almost any vegetation and can still offer high work efficiency.

The new hydraulic swivel arms are internaly reinforced and not only allows mowing in almost any position, but it also saves manoeuvring in narrow corners when you use the BCRXpro as regular flail mower. Your tractor needs 2 double acting hydraulic control circuits in order to fully operate the swivel arm.

Technology

spring-based crash protection system:The Twin-industry BCRXpro verge mower series comes with a new intelligent spring-based crash protection system, which lets the mower swing out to the back, in case you hit a solid piece of material. This additonal swivelling feature gives the tractor driver the opportunity to brake in time, before serious damage is done to the mower. This safety feature is totally maintenance free and runs reliably for years.

Twin-industry is using 36 to 40 of the new large forged high performance flail hammers (depending on working width) - each with a weight of 1300gr - that ensure a perfect mowing result on grass, undergrowth and bushes up to 40mm in diameter. The mowing height is adjusted by the heavy self cleaning roller, to prevent the mower from cutting into the ground on bumpy surface. The new counter knifes help to even cut high grass with perfect efficiency.

The large professional Bondioli&Pavesi free-wheel transmission lets the rotor shaft turn, once the PTO is switched off, so that its movement will not be transferred to the tractor. The mower´s front is equipped with safety flaps to prevent debris and stones being thrown out of the machine.

new stainless steel grease nipples:All BCRXpro verge mowers have easily accessible new stainless steel grease nipples for easy service and height adjustable skids and support legs for storage. The BCRXpro verge mower comes with a massive 180cm PTO shaft.  The short and easy service plan in the user manual helps you on maintenance and service.

variable rear roller position

Depending on the material to be chopped, the technical requirements of the mulcher can vary. The Twin-industry BCRXpro mulcher therefore has a trailing roller that can be mounted in two different positions. If the material is placed in front of the roller and then driven over by it, it is compressed, which is irrelevant if it is subsequently worked in with a roundabout harrow or rotary tiller. However, if the material is placed behind the roller - i.e. not compressed - it rots faster and more light and air reaches the meadow below. On uneven surfaces, a small distance between the trailing roller and the rotor shaft can be advantageous for ground levelling. The chopped material is then deposited behind the support roller. However, with dry chopped material such as maize straw, this can lead to a lot of churning, which can impair the cooling performance of the tractor engine when mounted at the front. The Bowell BCRXpro mulcher offers the option of moving the rear roller or support roller 20 cm further to the rear. This allows the chopped material to be deposited in front of the roller. By changing the position of the support roller, the BCRXpro flail mower can adapt perfectly to different conditions. There are three positions for the support roller to adjust the mowing height.

SKF ball bearings with performance rotor shaft with PowerCut® and 40% more flail hammers  

Like all other Twin-industry mowers, the BCRXpro series comes with a SKF ball bearing mounted and electronically balanced rotor shaft which is driven by 5 belts with 22mm width. Despite the high knife weight of 1300gr each the Twin-industry belt system guarantees an almost 100% power transfer rate without belt problems. The heavy free-wheel Bondioli&Pavesi  gear box runs in an oil bath, so the transmission oil, that comes with the machine, has to be filled in before you first use the machine.
The flail hammers are mounted in a spiral, so despite the wide working width never more than two flails are actually cutting at the same time. This significantly reduces the needed mowing power. The PowerCut® rotor shaft omes with 40% more flail hammers, so you can run your tractor significantly faster to save time and fuel.
